Saturn, the 2nd largest planet in our Solar System, is another gas giant beyond our asteroid belt. Despite the massive size of this planet, it can float on water, consisting of hydrogen and helium, Saturn has only one eight the average density of Earth, making it less dense than water itβs self. Saturnβs hypnotizing rings are made up of mostly dust, and ice, with some pieces as small as grains of sand and others up to half a mile wide. Saturn can be associated to many things including some serious human experiences such as karma, addiction, obsession, learning lessons, possessions, attachment to things that hurt us, self destructive tendencies and attachment to social status. On the other hand, Saturn can be associated to finding ones self, exploring your souls desires and purpose, merging your earthly being, becoming one with your body and soul through detachment and healing. One side being self limiting to things we can control and know what to expect as the outcome, even if it is not good for us, then the other giving hope, healing, freedom with in self, creativity, and imagination. The battle between how much our own mind can be our biggest detriment in our person perception of the world and our experiences. In astrology the sign Saturn is in, on the day of your birth is said to represent how you discipline yourself, where you will need to do the most maturing through out your life, and where you may experience karma.
